Capgemini Engineering is seeking two Systems Engineers to join an exciting new initiative with our partner in commercial aerospace and aviation. Long DescriptionYour role
- Lead Systems Engineering activities across product development, upgrades, and maintenance, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality artifacts such as requirements specifications, systems architecture models (MBSE), interface documentation, and other relevant materials.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert in Systems Engineering and/or MBSE.
- Support clients in their digital transformation journey by implementing Systems Engineering best practices, sharing lessons learned, and providing coaching and training to fellow engineers.
- Evaluate and support the advancement of Systems Engineering maturity within client organizations.
Required skills and experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Systems Engineering.
- Strong understanding of systems architecture (functional and logical), requirements engineering, interface definition, and verification & validation.
- Experience applying and teaching systems engineering processes (e.g., ISO
15288), including mentoring junior engineers. - Proficiency in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including tools such as Cameo, Catia, and modeling languages/frameworks like SysML.
- Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g., IBM DOORS, DOORS NG).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., INCOSE SEP, OMG MBSE certifications, IREB) are a plus.
- Experience with commercial aircraft design, FAR Part 25, and ARP-4761 is advantageous but not required.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 90k to 150k as per # of years experience
