Project Manager, Technical Support

The Project Manager (Product Safety & Compliance) serves as the critical bridge between our customers and the technical laboratory. You will own the certification lifecycle from the moment a product arrives, ensuring that all regulatory requirements—specifically EMC, RF Safety, and Product Safety Marking—are identified, scheduled, and executed to meet the customer’s launch timeline.

• Consultation & Strategy:
  Evaluate incoming customer products (e.g., PCs, wireless devices) to determine the exact certification path required based on target markets and technology.
• Timeline Management:
  Create and maintain rigorous schedules to ensure customer compliance deadlines are met without bottlenecking the lab.
• Technical Liaison:
  Act as the primary point of contact between the customer and the testing lab. You will "translate" technical requirements into actionable project plans.

• EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility):
  Ensuring devices don't interfere with other electronics.
• RF (Radio Frequency) Safety:
  Managing compliance for wireless transmissions and signal integrity.
• Product Safety Marking:
  Overseeing the application of required safety labels and marks (e.g., UL, CE, FCC) to ensure legal market entry.
• Customer Relationship Management:
  Lead meetings, provide status updates, and manage expectations for clients throughout the testing and certification phases.

• Technical Knowledge:
  Familiarity with RF, EMC, and global product safety standards.
• Project Leadership:
  Proven ability to manage multiple hardware projects simultaneously with high attention to detail.
• Communication:
  Strong interpersonal skills to navigate technical discussions with engineers and timeline discussions with business stakeholders.
• Problem Solving:
  Ability to look at a new piece of hardware and quickly determine the regulatory hurdles it must clear.
