Construction Project Engineer

Joseph J. Albanese, Inc. is seeking a full-time Project Engineer to join our Project Management team. As a member of the Project Management department, this individual will report directly to a Project Executive. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:

• Coordinates project activities and tracks materials
• Oversees and monitors production in conjunction with Foreman and Superintendent
• Updates project schedules and assists with job meetings
• Reviews submittals, prepares contract documents, and maintains contract files
• Drafts purchase orders, subcontracts, and change orders
• Ensures accuracy and timeliness of timecard processing
• Submits subcontractor invoices and requests for payment

NOTE:

These duties listed are meant to describe the general scope of the work. Other duties may be assigned based on business needs within the organization.

QUALIFICATONS:

• Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or a related field
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, HCSS, and scheduling software
• Valid CA driver license
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong work ethic, team player, and attention to detail
