Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high
bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks,
Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the
electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs
globally. Our global headquarters are located in Nashua, NH and we have design,
sales and manufacturing locations globally. We are currently seeking a Field
Applications Engineering Intern to join our team. The position will be located
in Santa Clara, CA.

Applications Engineering Teams to foster this ongoing partnership.

Gain Experience!

Training on Amphenol products and services
Develop your professional experience through exposure to executive
management and mentorship opportunities.
Learn industry market knowledge by collaborating with peers and internal
sales team on strategic initiatives for customers.
Exposure to the latest and greatest technology for interconnect solutions

The role of FAE Intern gives an excellent insight into the Sales, Marketing and
Product Development functions of the organization. You will interface with our
customers, and internal product development, product marketing, and sales
teams. Supporting the below departmental functions:

Engineering resource on the sales team to lead technical aspects of the
sales cycle
Provide technical marketing support for the development and implementation
of AICC products
Prepare materials and participate in product presentations
Provide customer service to solve complex interconnect problems and
technical inquiries
Help devise strategies to differentiate our products and solutions from our
competitors
Some local travel will be required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate would be pursuing their Bachelor's in Mechanical or
Electrical Engineering field
The role will draw on either your electronic engineering background (signal
transmission, DSP, EMI/EMC, signal integrity) and / or your mechanical
engineering background (materials, tolerance analysis, CAD tools)
Knowledge of interconnect solutions industry is a plus

The base hourly range for this non-exempt position is $24.00 - $28.00 USD. In
determining rate of pay, Amphenol considers a variety of nondiscriminatory
factors, including but not limited to geographic location, experience,
qualifications, skills, and education. Please note that this internship is
temporary in nature, and ineligible for benefits.
