Power Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description

The Candidate will work with the team to develop and deploy methodology and infrastructure to measure and analyze SiFive IP power consumption.

• Develop and deploy power analysis flows, models to collect and analyze power consumption
• Correlate power models with RTL and silicon
• Develop and deploy power measurement infrastructure
• Develop power models for architecture exploration and development

• MS or PhD in Computer Science / Computer Architecture
• 3+ years of experience in power benchmarking, analysis and modeling
• Experience with power impacts at architecture, logic design, and circuit levels
• Knowledge of computer architecture of high performance out‑of‑order CPU designs
• Experience with ASIC power analysis and optimization
• Hands‑on expertise with either HW development (RTL/implementation flows, verification/validation, backend flows, FPGA flows) or SW development is a strong plus
• Competency in software engineering best practices needed to maintain and refactor very large object‑oriented code bases
• Self‑starter, fast learner, strong problem‑solving skills
