Job Description
The Candidate will work with the team to develop and deploy methodology and infrastructure to measure and analyze SiFive IP power consumption.
Responsibilities- Develop and deploy power analysis flows, models to collect and analyze power consumption
- Correlate power models with RTL and silicon
- Develop and deploy power measurement infrastructure
- Develop power models for architecture exploration and development
- MS or PhD in Computer Science / Computer Architecture
- 3+ years of experience in power benchmarking, analysis and modeling
- Experience with power impacts at architecture, logic design, and circuit levels
- Knowledge of computer architecture of high performance out‑of‑order CPU designs
- Experience with ASIC power analysis and optimization
- Hands‑on expertise with either HW development (RTL/implementation flows, verification/validation, backend flows, FPGA flows) or SW development is a strong plus
- Competency in software engineering best practices needed to maintain and refactor very large object‑oriented code bases
- Self‑starter, fast learner, strong problem‑solving skills
