Key Responsibilities- Architect and design 48V power delivery ICs optimized for CPU, GPU, and ASIC platforms with high current density and fast transient performance.
- Provide technical leadership for high-speed GaN driver chip design — from concept through silicon validation.
- Drive innovation in analog power circuit design, includes high speed high voltage gate drivers, protection circuits, and high precision current sensing.
- Perform circuit-level simulations (Spectre, HSPICE, etc.) and silicon characterization to ensure designs meet electrical and thermal performance targets.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with systems, layout, verification, and test teams to ensure robust and manufacturable silicon.
- Explore and adopt emerging technologies, including GaN/BCD processes, advanced packaging, and new topologies to enhance efficiency and power density.
- Education: MSEE or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 8+ years of proven analog/mixed-signal IC design experience, with a heavy emphasis on high-voltage power management, BCD processes, and high speed GaN drivers.
- Technical competence: Proven expertise in high speed GaN gate driver design and high voltage BCD processes.
- A hands-on problem solver and good communicator
