Overview

Sustainable Talent is partnering with NVIDIA, a global leader in computer graphics, PC gaming, and accelerated computing. We are looking for a Vehicle Integration Engineer to support NVIDIA's AV Operations Team in Santa Clara, CA. This is a W‑2 full‑time short‑term contract role with competitive pay of $60–$67 per hour, full benefits, PTO, and a strong company culture.

Responsibilities
  • Debug, maintain, and integrate systems into vehicle platforms.
  • Triage reported in‑vehicle issues related to sensors, ECUs, vehicle communication, data logging equipment, software, and more.
  • Solve vehicle communication issues, design solutions, and raise incidents when necessary.
  • Perform hands‑on work, including disassembling vehicles to determine root causes.
  • Act as the “first responder” for vehicle issues and raise suggestions for improvements to avoid recurring problems.
Qualifications
  • Hands‑on experience diagnosing automotive bus systems (CAN, Flex Ray, Ethernet) and working on vehicles, including disassembling and assembling parts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Automotive, Electric, IT, or similar) or equivalent experience.
  • In‑depth experience with ECU communication protocols and automotive sensors such as radars, cameras, ultrasounds, and LiDAR.
  • Strong technical problem‑solving ability and attitude.
  • Experience with ECU flashing, IP/Ethernet, Linux command line.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work weekend and/or evening shifts.
Preferred Experience
  • Proficiency with scripting languages and Linux OS.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting automotive electronics installations.
  • Experience with advanced automotive bus analysis tools (e.g., Vector CANoe/CANalyzer).
  • Experience with the latest sensor technology for autonomous driving platforms, including sensor calibrations.
