Key Responsibilities- Process RFQ for new prototype materials for supplier competitive bidding, analyze quotes, challenge bid performance, negotiate prices and delivery, procure custom and OEM materials at the lowest cost while considering quality, reliability of source and urgency of need.
- Ensure sourcing with the right supplier for the right parts with the best lead times and drive suppliers to fulfill on‑time delivery requirements.
- Follow up on orders, verify delivery, expedite deliveries, and maintain necessary supporting documents for all orders issuing and/or adjusting purchase orders in a timely manner.
- Expedite and ensure the timely receipt of materials; manage supplier accountability for open orders.
- Apply standard purchasing business processes with minimal supervision.
- Lead problem resolution for material related accounting and receiving issues.
- Lead cross‑functional teams to resolve procurement issues among suppliers, business managers and engineering.
- Read part specifications and engineering drawings for sourcing determination; use knowledge of material types to communicate with engineers and suppliers.

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
