Job DescriptionThis role leads Operations Engineering and Manufacturing Learning & Development to continuously improve execution, process stability, workforce readiness, and scalability across the site. The leader is accountable for day‑to‑day delivery and long‑term capability building across manufacturing execution, process improvement, training content, and training technology.
Key Role Responsibilities- Lead engineering systems, standards, procedures, and projects that improve assembly and test processes, including equipment and fixture improvements, to ensure production readiness.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts, including CAPAs and nonconformance management, to reduce variability, address root causes, and strengthen quality in manufacturing.
- Drive operational discipline through planning, metrics, governance, and cross‑functional alignment across Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, R&D, and Program teams.
- Own the Manufacturing Learning & Development function, including the training team, training content, deployment, and training technology needed to scale workforce capability.
- Develop team members while building sustainable organizational capability and execution maturity.
- Serve as a change agent to implement scalable systems, clear accountability, and effective decision‑making.
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations engineering, process engineering, project management or operations in a regulated industry. Medical device, pharmaceutical, electronics, or automotive experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline required;
Master’s degree preferred. - Demonstrated success leading teams and improving manufacturing performance, process capability, quality, or workforce readiness in complex, fast‑paced environments.
- Experience leading cross‑functional execution across Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and R&D, including work in matrixed organizations.
- Experience with manufacturing training, learning systems, digital training tools, or workforce capability development is preferred.
- Preferred: capital equipment manufacturing and/or NPI experience;
Lean / Six Sigma; and exposure to digital manufacturing.
- May require up to 10% of domestic and/or international travel.
- The attendance policy required for this role is fully Onsite.
