Advanced Semiconductor Engineering Electronics Technician – 6‑Month Contract to Hire
Location:
Santa Clara, California
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8‑hour day shift)
Pay Rate$45.00 to $60.00 per hour, depending on experience

- Support our engineering design, manufacturing test, and product diagnostics teams as a highly skilled and detail‑oriented Electrical Test Technician
- Perform electrical validation and troubleshooting with a passion for precision and quality
- Leverage experience in electrical test and validation from a manufacturing test group, RMA product diagnostics/repair team, or supporting an engineering design team
- Operate oscilloscopes, DMMs, and other test equipment independently
- Solder, desolder, and rework SMT PCBs of current technology sizes
- Apply general low‑voltage electrical knowledge (0‑24 V)
- Demonstrate electromechanical assembly/disassembly understanding and ESD mitigation practices
- Fabricate electrical cables from sketches
- Maintain high detail focus and execute tasks with disciplined precision
Functional Knowledge & Skills
- Strong electrical experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to convey complex information and build consensus
- Understanding of board‑level communication standards such as SPI and I2C
- Ability to find alternate OEM component sources when parts are unavailable
- Experience with semiconductor equipment manufacturing
- Minimum of 7 years of direct experience
