Electrical Embedded Circuit Design Engineer

We are seeking an Electrical Embedded Circuit Design Engineer to perform circuit design and development tasks related to development of microLED technology.

You will develop embedded electronics, related to the utilization of microLED technology, in the following application spaces:

• Augmented intelligence (AI)
• Smart glasses

You will help to pioneer and grow leading edge microLED technology, within an international marketplace.

• Help architect embedded circuit board solutions for various use cases.
• Develop reference designs, demonstration systems, and test systems.
• Document high-level architecture and design solutions (ie. Hardware Design Document, Interface Control Document)
• Schematic Capture (preferably Altium or Cadence OrCAD)
• Work together with PCB layout CAD engineer, specify/guide/verify PCB stackup, trace impedance, signal integrity
• Specify electronic components
• Generate fabrication, assembly and design packages
• Prototype bring-up and debug

• B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering
• 2+ years experience in embedded circuit design
• Experience with either Altium or Cadence OrCAD CAD design tools
• Good understanding of microcontrollers, digital and analog circuit design
• Experience with microcontrollers utilizing an ARM core
• Experience with I2C, SPI/QSPI, UART, MIPI-DSI, HDMI, USB, ADC, DAC and uSD card interfaces/protocols
• Experience with basic PCB layout design practices (ie. stackup and power plane specification, trace impedance control, differential pairs, trace and power net shielding and isolation)
• Good organizational skills

• Embedded FW design experience: “C”, Rust
• SW application experience (Linux, Windows and/or Mac)
• Shell scripting experience
