Responsibilities- Contribute to dedicated teams responsible for customer system development and support from concept to production.
- Develop integration and test strategies in support of new product introduction.
- Assist with providing solutions to customers across a wide range of sectors with their high speed data transmission requirements.
- Design and evaluate next generation production test platforms.
- Support production to ensure high level test and measurement excellence.
- Support the internal Sales Engineers to develop strategies for product break‑in at existing and new accounts based on signal integrity and electrical engineering expertise.
- Design, simulate, characterize, and apply high‑speed electrical connectors and cable‑based interconnect.
- Share knowledge and pursue continuous improvement in methods and workflows.
- Design, build, and measure circuit boards for measurement and verification of products.
- Apply circuit theory and high‑speed digital transmission, PCB layout principles for high‑speed digital design.
- BS in Electrical Engineering; MS/PhD preferred.
- 3+ years of industry experience with an understanding of electromagnetic principles for digital signal integrity.
- Experience in component design and application of high‑speed connectors into communications equipment is a plus.
- Experience with signal integrity measurements and debugging with TDR, VNA, pattern generators, error detectors and similar equipment.
- Experience with signal integrity and simulation/analysis tools such as Ansys HFSS and Designer, CST Microwave, HSPICE, MATLAB, and ADS.
- Hands‑on experience with frequency‑domain and time‑domain component and circuit characterization including understanding of test and calibration methods.
The base salary range for this position is $80,750 to $214,500. Compensation is determined by geographic location, experience, qualifications, skills, and education.
