Senior Circuit Design Engineer - Power Modeling and Simulation

Responsibilities

• Participate in innovative processor design in deep submicron technologies.
• Work as part of a global circuits team to design and implement power delivery and power management solutions.
• Model and simulate analog and digital circuits and systems in various environments.
• Model and simulate power delivery networks (PDN) from die to platform level.
• Perform detailed block-level and system-level simulation to ensure reliability, performance, and stability.
• Mentor and lead junior team members.

• BSEE (or equivalent) or MS/PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 6+ years of experience in modeling and simulation of digital and analog circuits and power delivery networks.
• Proficiency with industry-standard electromagnetic simulation tools (Ansys, Sigrity).
• Experience modeling and simulation using Matlab/Simulink, Simplis, Spice, verilog-AMS, mixed-signal RTL+Spice, s-parameters, etc.
• Familiarity with industry-standard design and EDA tools (Cadence Virtuoso, Allegro) and circuit simulation tools (HSpice, Spectre, Primesim, XA).
• Strong scripting skills in Perl, Tcl, Python, or similar and knowledge of automation methods/algorithms.
• Hands‑on experience modeling/simulating complex power delivery networks for CPUs/GPUs; background in digital/analog circuit and control loop simulation is a plus.

Base salary range: $168,000 – $264,500 USD, determined by location, experience, and internal equity. Eligible for equity and benefits.
