OverviewWe are dedicated to transforming the industry by reimagining silicon and developing next‑generation computing platforms. By joining our team, you’ll collaborate with world‑class engineers to create innovative solutions that push the limits of performance, energy efficiency and scalability with highest security assurance for all stakeholders.
Position:SoC Security Architect
We are seeking experienced SoC Security Architects to join our team. If you possess an understanding of hardware security architecture and have a passion for architecting and designing complex System on Chips (SoCs) at advanced process nodes, we would be pleased to hear from you. This critical role involves architecting the next‑generation security system and hardware infrastructure by collaborating with other platform architects to enable secure debug, and manageability features while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
The work performed will lead to lower time to resolve issues and improve data center uptime by providing secure solutions that can be used in environments closer to, if not in, the production environments where the issues occur.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of SoC architecture for datacenter SoCs, HW/SW/System requirements for confidential computing and foundational security, debug, and manageability technologies. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills are essential for excelling in this position.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
- PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
- Master’s in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in hardware/SoC design for data center environments.
- 2+ years of experience architecting security technologies for data center products.
- Experience architecting foundational SoC security capabilities (e.g., secure boot, attestation, hardware/firmware provenance, isolation and access control, key management).
- Strong experience with SoC security architecture design and/or implementation.
- Proven threat modeling and security requirements development skills.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills across engineering and leadership audiences.
- Experience in architecting/designing foundational security technologies for a data center SoC (e.g., secure debug, attestation, HW & SW supply chain provenance, access control/isolation primitives).
- 5+ years in data center hardware architecture and design.
- Strong understanding of data center system architecture from edge to hyperscale.
- Knowledge of product lifecycle security across manufacturing, deployment, ownership transfer, service/repair, and decommissioning states.
- Experience with security architecture for heterogeneous multi-chiplet or large-scale SoC platforms.
- Track record delivering security architecture in hyperscale or cloud‑class products.
- Experience engaging with standards bodies and applying industry security frameworks to product architecture.
- Define SoC and system‑level security architecture for confidential computing platforms, including trust boundaries, isolation domains, and security in variants.
- Architect platform root‑of‑trust strategy and chain‑of‑trust across boot, runtime, attestation, and update flows.
- Define security architecture for cryptographic services, key lifecycle management, identity, provisioning, and anti‑rollback protections.
- Develop threat models and derive…
