Job Description
Johnson & Johnson Med Tech is recruiting for a Senior Manager, Service Innovation. This role supports Service, R&D, and manufacturing teams to improve serviceability, performance and reliability of robotic medical platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of Service Innovation members focusing on the realization of the Service Innovation project plan.
- Manage multi-disciplinary service innovation change projects and cross-functional project/study teams.
- Incorporate Design for Serviceability concepts in the product design process.
- Contribute to the Service business vision via inputs to the product roadmap.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive serviceability requirements strategy for hardware and software needs.
- Oversee continuous development of service documentation frameworks for upgrades and updates, aligning with industry standards.
- Lead recommendations for implementing innovative digital solutions and predictive maintenance tools.
- Continuously enhance the robotics platform and develop new service solutions with stakeholders.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical or biomedical engineering with 15years experience, or Master’s degree with 10years experience. - Experience in people leadership and delivering results.
- Experience in development environments and understanding product creation processes.
- Experience leading multi-functional management meetings and updates.
- Strong interpersonal, influence, and partnership skills.
- Experience in DfX, designing for Serviceability, lean methodologies.
- Preferred: R&D experience, software affinity, project management skills.
- Previous experience in medical devices industry and knowledge of ISO/FDA regulated environment.
Approximately 20% travel.
Compensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $157,000 - $271,400 (Bay Area Only).
