Job Title
R&D Electrical Engineer
LocationSanta Clara, CA, On-site
Work ArrangementHybrid – primarily on-site for a minimum of 3 days per week; standard business hours 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday.
Responsibilities- Design, analyze, develop, modify, and evaluate electrical/electronic parts, components, subsystems, algorithms, or integrated circuitry for electrical/electronic equipment and hardware systems.
- Conduct feasibility studies, design margin and validation analyses, and empirical testing on new and modified designs.
- Assist in architecture development and assessment.
- Evaluate reliability of materials, properties, designs, and techniques used in production.
- Direct support personnel in preparation of detailed design, design testing, and prototype fabrication.
- Support New Product Introductions and sustaining product enhancements.
- Implement established test plans for existing designs, validating tolerances, form/fit/function, system measurements including RF and digital, and system power measurements.
- Collaborate with internal and outsourced development partners on electrical hardware design and development.
- Participate in project teams to develop reliable, cost‑effective, high‑quality solutions for low‑ to moderately‑complex products.
- Prior mechanical and electronic engineering or manufacturing experience.
- Experience with electrical design tools and instrumentation equipment.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of PoE, Wi‑Fi, thermal and electromagnetic properties of materials, and design for electronic components and integrated circuitry.
- Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
- Experience working in high‑pressure environments and supporting diverse teams with technical challenges.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, typically 2–4 years of experience.
