Role Summary

This role focuses on the design, analysis, and testing of advanced electrostatic chucks (ESC) for plasma etch applications.

• Own and lead mechanical design and development of complex subassemblies and modules (e.g., electrostatic chucks, heaters, pedestals) for plasma etch tools.
• Conduct engineering analysis including FEA, thermal, structural, and flow simulations as needed.
• Perform 3D CAD design and release (NX/UG preferred), including detailed drawings and specifications.
• Drive prototype build, lab testing, and validation, including development of test plans and engineering reports.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex mechanical issues, performing root‑cause analysis and implementing corrective actions with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with electrical, process, manufacturing, and reliability teams to deliver integrated solutions.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 7‑10 years of experience.
• Experience in fluid‑thermal, thermo‑electrical, and FEA structural analysis (COMSOL or Ansys).
