Title:
Battery Thermal Engineer
Location:
Fully Onsite in Cupertino, CA
Contract Duration: 12+ Months CTH – no sponsorship available
Overview:
We are seeking a hands‑on ANSYS AEDT Icepak engineer with end‑to‑end thermal simulation development experience to support electronics cooling and hardware design. The engineer will build and own models, not merely run existing simulations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop end‑to‑end simulation models in ANSYS AEDT Icepak.
- Collaborate on electronics cooling and hardware design projects.
Must‑have qualifications:
- Hands‑on experience with ANSYS AEDT Icepak and end‑to‑end simulation development.
- Electronics thermal/cooling experience.
- Ability to build models rather than run prebuilt simulations.
Preferred qualifications:
- MS/PhD with 5+ years relevant experience.
- Familiarity with Cadence Allegro and electronics layout design.
- Familiarity with lithium‑ion cells and battery packs.
- Familiarity with NX, COMSOL.
- Experience in electronics cooling.
