Role SummaryThis role focuses on the design, analysis, and testing of advanced electrostatic chucks (ESC) for plasma etch applications. The position offers hands‑on experience with complex thermal, mechanical, electrical, and materials challenges in advanced semiconductor hardware.
Role Responsibilities- Own and lead mechanical design and development of complex subassemblies and modules (e.g., electrostatic chucks, heaters, pedestals) for plasma etch tools
- Conduct engineering analysis including FEA, thermal, structural, and flow simulations as needed
- Perform 3D CAD design and release (NX/UG preferred), including detailed drawings and specifications
- Drive prototype build, lab testing, and validation, including development of test plans and engineering reports
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex mechanical issues, performing root‑cause analysis and implementing corrective actions with minimal supervision
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with electrical, process, manufacturing, and reliability teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7-10 years of experience
- Experience in fluid‑thermal, thermo‑electrical, and FEA structural analysis (COMSOL or Ansys)

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
