In this role, you will collaborate closely with Engineering, Platform Design, Contract Manufacturing (CM) partners, and cross functional teams to ensure successful product launches. You will also design and develop tooling, test fixtures, and jigs to support scalable, high volume production.

Who

You’ll Work With

As a Mechanical NPI Engineer, you will partner with Hardware, Mechanical, and Thermal Engineering leaders to advance product development, manufacturing readiness, and supplier strategy for high performance networking equipment. You will serve as a critical link between design, NPI, and full scale production, ensuring seamless transitions throughout the product lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross functional engineering teams, supplier management, and contract manufacturers to develop manufacturing processes, perform DFX reviews, manage product lifecycle activities, and provide sustaining support for Arista’s portfolio.

Your collaboration will extend to a broad supplier, including partners specializing in metals, plastics, die casting, high speed cables, air and liquid cooling thermal solutions, optics, fiber connectivity, and other electromechanical components essential to our products. You will also interface directly with customers as needed to support product integration and performance requirements.
