What you’ll be doing:
- Collaboration with architects and designers to find optimal implementations of safety diagnostics in hardware and software.
- Performing safety analysis and verification activities to confirm NVIDIA designs meet applicable performance targets, and aggressively work to improve products when issues are identified.
- Optimization, automation, and training of engineering standard methodologies to ensure speed of light execution.
- Provide support of third‑party assessment of NVIDIA safety concepts and SoC implementations.
- Assist in creation of safety manuals, analysis reports, and user guides.
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field or equivalent experience.
- At least 5+ years of meaningful experience in development and integration for automotive safety related semiconductors.
- Deep understanding of functional safety development processes required to follow the ISO 26262 functional safety standard.
- Experience in conducting safety analyses on semiconductors with a high degree of logic integration.
- Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel (up to 10% of the work time) is a necessity.
- Experience developing semiconductors for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) or autonomous driving.
- Understanding of neural networks, GPUs, and related design concepts.
- Relevant safety personnel certifications (e.g., CFSP, CFSE, or equivalent).
- A proven record of achieving semiconductor safety certifications from third‑party assessors such as TUEV SUED, exida, or equivalent.
Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions. The base salary range is $152,000 USD - $241,500 USD for Level3, and $184,000 USD - $287,500 USD for Level
4.
You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
