Windchill Functional consultant

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and engineering sector, is seeking a Windchill Functional consultant to join their team. As a Windchill Functional consultant, you will be part of the Engineering and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) support team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach, aligning successfully in the organization.

Santa Clara, California (On Site)

• Lead process mapping and functional design across Engineering, Change Control, Document Control, Configuration Management, and Manufacturing collaboration.
• Define functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices aligned to PLM strategy.
• Design Windchill+ configurations including life cycles, workflows, soft types, attributes, UI policies, classification, and search functionalities.
• Facilitate design workshops, perform fit-gap analysis, and harmonize best practices across multiple sites and business units.
• Define roles, ACLs, contexts, and policies to support data governance and compliance standards.

• Engineering degree with over 10 years of experience in PLM functional consulting, focusing on Windchill/Windchill+ implementations.
• Proven experience with process mapping and delivering to-be PLM operating models.
• Hands‑on involvement in Windchill/Windchill+ projects, including greenfield or major transformation initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of CAD integrations, especially Creo, Solid Works, NX, or AutoCAD.
• Deep understanding of WTParts, CAD Data Management, Document Control, Change Management, Life cycles, Workflows, Classification, Search, and Visualization tools.
