PLC Programmer

Job Title: PLC Engineer/ Programmer / Automation Control Engineer

The company is looking for an experienced PLC Engineer to join project focused on developing and scaling a hardware-based manufacturing simulator that will support AI-enabled manufacturing applications.

• Design, develop, and enhance PLC programs for a manufacturing simulation environment
• Develop control logic using SCL (Structured Control Language) and Ladder Logic within Siemens TIA Portal
• Integrate PLCs with sensor devices and hardware components through wired connections
• Support scaling and optimization of the simulator for AI-driven use cases
• Troubleshoot PLC logic, hardware connections, and sensor integrations
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and AI teams to ensure system reliability and accuracy

  Skills & Experience:
  
  
• 5–10 years of hands-on PLC programming experience
• Strong expertise in Siemens TIA Portal
• Advanced proficiency in SCL programming (mandatory)
• Working knowledge of Ladder Programming
• Experience connecting and configuring PLC hardware with sensors and field devices
• Solid understanding of industrial automation and manufacturing systems

• Experience in manufacturing, industrial automation, or simulation environments
• Prior exposure to projects supporting digital manufacturing or AI-based systems
