Mechanical Technician – Associate II – Semiconductor Product Validation
We are looking for a Mechanical Technician with experience in thermal cooling systems and mechanical assemblies for servers and electronic equipment. The candidate should have hands‑on experience with cooling components, CDUs, and liquid/air‑cooled systems.
Responsibilities- Assemble, install, test, and maintain thermal management solutions, including cold plates, heat sinks, and heat pipes.
- Assemble cooling assemblies for servers and electronic systems.
- Work with Cooling Distribution Units (CDUs) and associated thermal equipment.
- Perform mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and maintenance of pumps, tubes and piping systems, filters, valves, flow meters, connectors, and fittings.
- Support integration and testing of air‑cooled and liquid‑cooled systems for GPUs, CPUs, AI/HPC servers, and semiconductor/chip cooling applications.
- Conduct leak testing, pressure testing, and thermal validation activities.
- Interpret engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams for system builds, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and records related to assembly and maintenance activities.
- High School Diploma or Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Hands‑on experience in thermal equipment and cooling systems.
- Experience handling and maintaining CDUs (Cooling Distribution Units).
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in fluid and thermal systems.
- Familiarity with liquid cooling and air‑cooling technologies used in servers or electronic hardware.
- Ability to work with mechanical components including pumps, valves, tubing, filters, and flow meters.
- Knowledge of thermal interface materials, cooling loops, and heat transfer concepts is preferred.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and follow SOPs/work instructions.
- Good troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

Compensation Range
: $56,000–$84,000
Full‑time employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, 6 days of paid sick leave, 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty.
