Product And Test Engineering Assistant

The engineering assistant supports a team of product/test engineers in sustaining/engineering activities within the PTE group. He/she needs to be on site at a local test house daily to support ATE test program loading, data collection, and reports work status. Works with test floor technicians to change ATE test setup. Handles pre-production hardware, handler change kits, production fixtures, and add-on equipment.

Supports engineers in debugging hardware and associated re-work activities for production and product qualification/burn-in. Responsibilities also include RMA verification, production failure verification. Supports data collection during product characterization and qualification testing during the NPI phase of the products.

• Good communications (verbal and written), self-motivative, willing to learn, commitment to work

• High school diploma

• 1-2 years

• Basic knowledge on ATEs HW/SW. ATEs include Verigy 93K and Ultra Flex is a plus
• Basic understanding of semiconductor IC production flow and qualification is a plus
• Experience in high speed/SERDES test and bench hardware debugging is a plus
