Cleanroom MFG Facilities Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Building Systems Maintenance: Perform as well as oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, including HVAC, lighting, and fire protection.
• Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and ensure the longevity of all facility equipment.
• Project Management: Perform and manage facility-related projects, including renovations, equipment upgrades, and office reconfigurations, from conception to completion. This includes budgeting, scheduling, and overseeing contractors.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure all facilities adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and building codes. Conduct regular safety inspections and drills.
• Vendor and Contractor Management: Solicit bids, negotiate contracts, and manage the work of external vendors and contractors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Energy Management: Identify and implement energy-saving initiatives to reduce operational costs and promote sustainability.
• Emergency Response: Serve as a key point of contact for facility-related emergencies and develop and maintain emergency response plans.

Space Planning: Assist with space planning and office moves to accommodate the changing needs of the organization.
