Applied Materials is looking for a Process Engineer to become part of a world class team focused on developing the next generation CVD products. This is an excellent opportunity for research and development of materials that will enable current and future semiconductor device nodes. The ideal candidate will lead the technological advancement that requires development of various materials, deposition techniques and determine how to integrate the films for semiconductor device manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities- Drive innovation and development of CVD process & hardware technology
- Define technical path to solve high value problems
- Develop, plan and execute process engineering development projects
- Lead and participate in discussions with internal and external stakeholders to develop & deliver world-class performance solutions to the customers
- Advance in-depth understanding of process, hardware and their interaction in highly complex systems
- Perform process and hardware characterization on highly complex systems
- Regarded as technical expert in their respective field
- Experience in semiconductor processing technology beneficial
- Leads projects with significant complexity
- Develop strategy and path for project execution
- Work effectively with team members within and outside of the organization
- Identify and define clear high value problems
- Ability to break down complex challenges into clear problem statements, and develop strategy to solve them
- Solve complex problems with multiple process and hardware tradeoffs
- Ability to absorb knowledge from multiple sources, identify and implement the best solution
- Impacts the direction of process and hardware development for current and future technologies
- Passionate in solving problems and advancing technology
- Work independently and in a team with varying fields and years of expertise
- Excellent communication skills

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
