SLT Technician- QC

The SLT Engineering Technician facilitates engineering activities involving system-level testing, hardware verification, program validation, sample processing, and engineering experiments using SLT systems. This role follows written and verbal instructions to support testing, gather engineering data, troubleshoot challenges, and assist engineers in resolving technical issues. The technician is expected to independently manage routine tasks while applying sound judgment in troubleshooting and problem-solving.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support engineering testing activities using SLT systems.
• Perform SLT hardware and program verification tasks.
• Conduct engineering sample testing and manage samples.
• Submit and oversee NVTask requests.
• Collect engineering data and deliver detailed feedback to engineering teams.
• Assist in identifying methods and corrective measures to address equipment or process malfunctions.
• Set up, verify, and validate test equipment.
• Operate manufacturing, development, diagnostic, and testing equipment, including oscilloscopes, signal generators, specialized test apparatus, and test software.
• Support split-sample management and engineering experiments.
• Diagnose and resolve system setup and operational issues.
• Adhere strictly to written and verbal engineering instructions.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation using Excel, Word, and related tools.
• Support engineering investigations and problem-solving efforts.
• Assist with qualification and validation of new programs.
• Communicate test results, equipment concerns, and engineering insights professionally and promptly.

VLSI Board Design.

Experience:

1-3 Years. The expected compensation for this role ranges from $37,500 to $83,600. Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
