EAG Laboratories has a great opportunity for a Assembler/Test Operator
to join our ATE Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing manual testing and operating Automated Test Equipment (ATE) to test semiconductor parts and components. This position plays a critical role in ensuring product quality, testing efficiency and on-time delivery in a fast-paced environment.
- Operate semiconductor automated testing equipment and manual test.
- Ensure operational documents and quantity reports are accurate, complete and timely for each operation.
- Meet test priority and on-time goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Work cohesively with other team members and assist to achieve testing objectives.
- Proactive in identifying issues and resolving them quickly to satisfy productions objectives and customer needs.
The Assembler/Test Operator opportunity is located in Santa Clara, CA. As relocation assistance is not available, we encourage local candidates to apply.
Night-ShiftWork Schedule:
6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., working alternating weeks of three 12-hour shifts and four 12-hour shifts.
This nonexempt position receives a 10% night-shift differential for eligible night-shift hours. Hours worked beyond eight in a workday are paid at 1.5 times the employee’s regular rate of pay, in accordance with applicable law and company payroll practices. Qualifications
- 1 year experience with IC testing (aka ATE test) in electronic manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience in running semiconductor test equipment.
- Ability to calculate test yield and troubleshoot routine issues.
- Good communication and written skills.
- Ability to work with customers and ensure customer satisfaction.
