We are seeking a hands‑on Growth Marketing Automation Manager (AI‑Enabled) to own and optimize our email nurture and retargeting database programs. Reporting to the VP of Demand Generation, this individual will be directly responsible for new business pipeline creation and stage acceleration through automated marketing programs. You will also be responsible for governance throughout our database and support a limited set of communications and select lifecycle moments.
Hybrid role based in our Santa Clara, CA office.

- Serve as the directly responsible individual for Lean Data's nurture engine, owning strategy, build, execution, and performance for email nurture (always‑on and campaign‑based), database re‑engagement programs, and retargeting audiences with suppression logic.
- Partner with Demand Gen and Paid Media to ensure messaging orchestration and database lists across channels, stages, and personas.
- Build and optimize nurture programs that drive inquiry → MQL → SQL progression and support pipeline creation as well as customer marketing nurture initiatives.
- Develop segmentation frameworks based on areas such as persona, role, industry, account tier, engagement signals and intent, stage, and product interest.
- Own nurture program performance analysis and optimization, including conversion diagnostics and stage acceleration improvements.
- Align nurture with sales motion (SDR/AE workflows), ensuring the right touches at the right time.
- Support marketing communications that may include key announcements, webinar/event invitations, and targeted milestone or "what's next" messaging.
- Build and manage Hub Spot programs end‑to‑end including workflows and automation logic, segmentation and list management, triggered journeys, personalization and dynamic content, suppression and frequency controls, and dashboards for attribution reporting and program measurement.
- Establish and maintain database governance framework to ensure data quality, proper segmentation, lifecycle stage accuracy, and clean lead routing across all programs.
- Ensure database and lifecycle structure enables scalable, measurable programs.
- Maintain best practices in deliverability, list hygiene, and consent/compliance.
- Partner with Rev Ops to ensure Hub Spot and Salesforce alignment for routing, lifecycle stages, field mapping, and campaign attribution.
- Operationalize AI‑enabled workflows to increase speed, testing velocity, and program quality including scalable copy/creative iteration, rapid segmentation hypothesis development, automated insights summaries and performance analysis workflows, and building reusable prompt libraries and campaign playbooks.
- Establish closed‑loop optimization system: performance → insight → hypothesis → experiment → learning → iteration.
- Contribute to a team‑wide culture of curiosity and continuous improvement.
- 2–5 years experience in B2B marketing automation, nurture/lifecycle programs, or demand generation (SaaS preferred).
- Strong hands‑on expertise in Hub Spot including workflows, lists, segmentation, automation, and reporting.
- Proven experience with Hub Spot and Salesforce alignment including routing, lifecycle stages, and field mapping.
- Track record owning and optimizing nurture programs tied to growth and pipeline outcomes.
- Experience establishing database governance practices and maintaining data quality across marketing programs.
- High performance and experimentation mindset: you test, learn, document, and improve.
- Comfortable partnering with Sales and Rev Ops in a multi‑stage funnel and enterprise motion.
