SAP ABAP S​/HANA Developer

Whitehall Resources are looking to hire a highly skilled SAP ABAP S/4

HANA Developer to join their team in Santa Clara, CA. This is an on-site Contract-to-Hire opportunity supporting a complex S/4

HANA landscape, focused on custom development, modern SAP UI applications, and enterprise integrations.

This role will play a critical part in designing, developing, and enhancing SAP solutions using modern ABAP and S/4

HANA technologies, working closely with functional and technical teams across the organisation.

• Design, develop, and support custom SAP applications using Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP) and ABAP on HANA
• Build and maintain SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 applications, including both Freestyle and Fiori Elements
• Develop and enhance CDS Views, OData services, and RESTful APIs
• Work with SAP BTP RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) to build modern, scalable SAP applications
• Develop and support integrations using IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs, Web Services, and other interface technologies
• Create and enhance SAP Forms, including Adobe Forms
• Implement enhancements using user exits, BADIs, and enhancement frameworks
• Configure and support Flexible Workflow and approval processes
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Support system upgrades, testing, troubleshooting, and production support activities

• Strong hands-on experience with Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP)
• Proven experience with ABAP on HANA and SAP S/4

• Experience developing SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 applications (Freestyle and Fiori Elements)
• Experience with CDS Views, OData services, and SAP Gateway
• Experience working with SAP BTP and RAP framework
• Experience building integrations using IDocs, RFCs, Web Services, and APIs
• Experience with Enhancements, Adobe Forms, and Flexible Workflow
• Strong understanding of SAP development lifecycle and best practices
• Experience working in enterprise SAP environments

• Experience with full lifecycle S/4
  
  HANA implementations or migrations
• Knowledge of SAP integration technologies and middleware
• Experience working in manufacturing, technology, or enterprise environments
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
