As part of Ampere’s Global Engineering Labs Team, you will build and perform troubleshooting system and configuration of our hardware platforms. This is a full-time, on-site position 5 days per week.

• Build and perform system troubleshooting and configuration of hardware platforms
• Lab infrastructural hardware installation, prep/setup of benches & racks
• Cable/wire management for datacenter needs and platform test setups
• Organizing storage areas & lab work spaces, transporting shipment boxes on pallet jacks, dispositioning packing material
• Issuing platforms, components & chips from engineering inventory
• Updating and maintaining inventory records
• Software Team assists with day-to-day mechanical tasks in the lab, printing labels, grounding wires, setting up switches/APC’s/UART’s, etc.
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull and lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift/move up to 40 lbs.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience building and performing system troubleshooting and configuration of hardware platforms
• Basic network troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with Linux installation and basic troubleshooting
• Experience working with a ticketing system to direct work, creating documentation of processes and workflow
• Past experience using version control systems for sw development such as Git/Gitlab, Github is a plus.
