Role DescriptionThis is a senior, quota-bearing individual contributor role responsible for generating and closing new enterprise services revenue within the Cisco ecosystem.
You will own pipeline development, Cisco field alignment, executive engagement, and full-cycle deal execution. This role requires a disciplined enterprise hunter who can independently originate and close complex services engagements in multi-stakeholder enterprise environments.
This position carries defined annual new revenue targets and direct accountability for closed bookings.
Responsibilities- Generate and close new enterprise and service provider services revenue
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline aligned to defined revenue objectives
- Develop trusted relationships with Cisco AEs, BEs, and specialist teams
- Originate opportunities through both Cisco field alignment and direct enterprise engagement
- Lead executive-level sales conversations with CIO, CTO, and infrastructure leadership
- Own the full sales cycle from qualification through negotiation and close
- Structure and close complex enterprise services engagements ($250K+)
- Expand strategic accounts into multi-phase programs
- Maintain disciplined forecasting and revenue visibility
Required
- 10+ years enterprise sales experience in networking, security, or infrastructure services
- Proven track record of personally closing professional services revenue
- Demonstrated ability to open and expand net-new enterprise accounts
- Experience working with or within the Cisco ecosystem
- Strong executive presence and consultative selling discipline
- Ability to operate independently without heavy marketing or SDR support
Preferred
- Background at Cisco, a Cisco partner, or large systems integrator
- Experience in Secure Networking, Data Center, or cloud-integrated infrastructure environments
- Familiarity with Cisco field engagement and co-sell motions
- Experience selling into enterprise or service provider accounts
- Established productive Cisco field relationships within 90 days
- Active, qualified pipeline aligned to annual revenue objectives within 6 months
- Closed strategic enterprise services engagements within the first year
- Measurable contribution to sustained revenue growth
- Performance-based variable compensation tied directly to bookings
- Meaningful upside aligned with revenue performance
