Founding Infrastructure Engineer

We’re building VLM Run — a unified infrastructure platform that enables developers to fine-tune, specialize, and run Vision-Language Models (VLMs) that convert images, PDFs, screenshots, and video into reliable, schema-true structured data.

This is production-grade multimodal AI — built for scale, security, and SLAs.

We’re hiring exceptional engineers who want to define what that future looks like.

• Own and optimize the VLM inference stack end-to-end (GPU serving, latency/cost optimization, scalability, reliability)
• Build high-performance backend systems that support multimodal workloads
• Architect systems designed for observability and production uptime
• Design clean, ergonomic APIs for multimodal applications
• Implement structured outputs, function/tool calling, and workflow orchestration
• Build systems developers genuinely enjoy using

• Take ideas from 0→1
• Set the engineering quality bar

(BS + 4+ Years Experience)

• Built or integrated apps using OpenAI, Hugging Face, Ollama, vLLM, or similar
• Strong grasp of prompt engineering, structured outputs, function calling
• Python (advanced)
• FastAPI
• Schema validation, caching, performance optimization

• Observability (logging, metrics, tracing)
• GCP or AWS

• TDD and strong testing practices
• Clean, maintainable code
• Git Hub workflows (PRs, reviews, CI)
• High ownership mindset

• 0.5–3% meaningful equity
