Shifts:
First month will be Monday‑Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM;
Wednesday‑Saturday 7:00 AM–6:00 PM;
Sunday‑Wednesday 7:00 AM–6:00 PM.
This is a long‑term ongoing Datacenter Tech opportunity. The project consists of building out and supporting an NVIDIA datacenter. Candidates must be open to installation and deployment workloads.
ResponsibilitiesLevel 3 Responsibilities:
- Proven experience as a technical lead with people supervision.
- Initial contact/liaison between TEK team members and NVIDIA management.
- Prioritize and manage workload across team.
- Review build documentation before project and validate any questions or concerns.
- Direct build activities related to DC Ops.
- Designate predetermined training path in line with NVIDIA standards.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting support and resolution of tickets.
- Ensure projects are aligned to NVIDIA DC standards.
- Serve as point of contact for TEKsystems and NVIDIA.
- Coordinate activities with other teams as needed for project builds and escalations.
- Escalation point of contact for L1 & L2 techs on the team.
Day‑to‑day technical responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot a variety of servers and isolate the problem the server is encountering.
- Order replacement parts and install them in servers; ship defective part back to vendors.
- Update firmware on servers to ensure the latest version is installed.
- Configure IP addresses and default login credentials on servers.
- Assist network admins with issues such as replacing broken cables, re‑routing cables to different ports on the server or switch, replacing optics on both server and switch ports, and installing upgraded parts.
- Temporarily rack and stack a server or switch in a cabinet and cable it so the network admin can remotely log in and run configurations on the device.
- Assist network admins who request specific assistance with servers or switches.
- Assist with Level 1 responsibilities as necessary.

Skills & Qualifications
Please see the hours listed in the job description. It is critical that all submittals be true L3 DC techs with an understanding of break/fix troubleshooting. They must also be willing to do the L1/L2 rack/stack for deployments as needed. This is still a technician role.
L2 troubleshooting is not remote hands or people being walked through tickets. They need to be able to troubleshoot independently and isolate logical issues using Linux.
