Senior HPC Architect

Overview

NVIDIA is a leading technology company focused on GPU innovation, AI, and high‑performance computing. We are seeking a Senior HPC Architect to support the deployment and scaling of large‑scale GPU compute clusters, enabling breakthroughs in artificial intelligence and GPU computing.

• Design and implement engineering solutions for operationalizing NVIDIA GPU Computing products and software stacks.
• Collaborate with internal and external engineering teams, supporting systems, machine learning and deep‑learning engineers.
• Act as an internal reference for system administration, at‑scale system analysis, and data‑center GPU‑accelerated solutions.
• Architect, develop, and bring up large‑scale high‑performance platforms, working closely with HPC, OS, GPU compute, and systems specialists.
• Provide insights and implement system‑level tuning mechanisms for large‑scale compute runs.
• Engage scientific researchers, developers, and customers to craft improved workflows and new differentiated solutions.

• 8+ years of experience in accelerated computing for datacenter/HPC enterprise solutions.
• Solid understanding of accelerated computing scheduling and I/O stacks.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, Bash programming/scripting.
• Experience supporting high‑performance computing or deep‑learning research communities.
• Knowledge of parallel file systems.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and analytical skills.
• BS in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science; MS or PhD is desirable.

• Deep Learning framework experience.
• Telemetry and visualization pipeline deployment.
• Container technology and Linux performance tools.

• Competitive salary range: USD 184,000 – 287,500 for Level4; USD 224,000 – 356,500 for Level
  5.
