Senior GPU Architect, Deep Learning

Overview

We are now looking for a Senior GPU & Deep Learning Architect to join the NVIDIA GPU Architecture group. As a senior architect, you will lead architecture efforts for deep learning workloads, design new hardware features, advance parallel computation, and develop simulators and testing infrastructure.

• Design hardware features for future deep learning architectures targeting both training and inference workloads.
• Advance the state of parallel computation.
• Stay knowledgeable about future parallel programming models and their hardware impact.
• Develop software for hardware simulators, testing infrastructure, or metrics systems including databases.
• Collaborate in a team to document, design, develop tools to analyze and simulate, validate, and verify functional or performance models.
• Develop tests, test plans, and testing infrastructure for new graphics or parallel processing architectures.
• Work on simulators, RTL and real silicon.

• MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in hardware for deep learning or mapping deep learning algorithms to hardware.
• 8+ years of industry experience in GPU or parallel programming architectures (or equivalent).
• Strong programming skills in C, C++, Perl and Python.
• Background in computer architecture, parallel processing, signal processing and/or HPC.
• Knowledge of state‑of‑the‑art DL algorithms and attention mechanisms is a plus.

Base salary range: USD
184,000–287,500 for Level4, USD
224,000–356,500 for Level
