Overview
Senior Account Executive — Mage AI is hiring to own the full sales cycle and turn Mage AI’s explosive inbound and enterprise demand into long-term, high-impact partnerships that define how the world builds and deploys AI.
We’re hiring a top-tier AE who can turn warm interest into long-term enterprise partnerships — someone who frames the right problem, tells a crisp story, and closes transformative deals.
You’ll work directly with the founders and partner tightly with product and marketing to help customers ship AI—faster, cheaper, and at scale.

What You’ll Do- Own the full cycle from first touch to close and expansion; quarterback multi-threaded deals with data, product, and exec stakeholders.
- Work inbound + targeted outbound: qualify high-intent Pro signups and build strategic outreach into data-driven industries.
- Tell the product story: deliver crisp demos of Mage’s unified stack, AI Blocks, and agentic workflows; quantify time-to-value and vendor consolidation.
- Build champions across data engineering, analytics, and product; navigate security, compliance, and procurement at the enterprise.
- Forecast with rigor and run tight deal hygiene in Hub Spot; partner with CS on seamless handoffs, onboarding, and renewals.
- Close with intent: land new logos and set up expansion motions (usage, teams, workloads) within 3–6 months post-go-live.
- Proven B2B SaaS closer with a track record of hitting/exceeding quota; comfort with six-figure, multi-stakeholder cycles.
- Platform seller who can map pains to a unified data+AI solution; fluency in data/AI concepts (pipelines, orchestration, streaming, LLMs) is a plus.
- World-class communicator — crisp writing, strong discovery, and demo skills; you tailor narratives to ICs and execs.
- Process-driven: pipeline discipline, clear next steps, and accurate forecasting;
Hub Spot (preferred) and modern sales tools. - Founder-mindset: proactive, resourceful, and energized by fast feedback loops.
- Sell the category shift: a true AI-native data OS with a clear enterprise story (agentic workflows, self-healing, governance).
- Direct founder access; fast decisions, big impact.
- Explosive traction with a deep OSS → Pro funnel and rapid expansions that compound across cohorts.
- Competitive compensation (salary + commission), health/dental/vision.
