MyHR Portal Content Management Specialist (Hybrid) – Santa Clara, CA or Austin, TX
We currently have a very exciting opportunity available for a MyHR Portal Content Management Specialist. This will be a 6‑month contract role and will be hybrid based in either Santa Clara, CA or Austin, TX.
The MyHR Portal Content Operations & Governance Specialist is responsible for the day‑to‑day operational management and quality of MyHR content and user experience in Service Now. This role supports content writers globally, maintains knowledge base hygiene and article lifecycle activities, manages homepage/topic page content placements (e.g., carousels), and coordinates content governance workflows across COEs and countries to ensure content is easy to find, easy to understand, easy to trust, and easy to maintain.
Responsibilities- Provide day‑to‑day operational support for the MyHR employee self‑service portal built on Service Now, ensuring content accuracy, visibility, and consistency.
- Manage the end‑to‑end knowledge article lifecycle, including publishing support, ongoing maintenance, expiration tracking, refresh coordination, and content retirement.
- Monitor system notifications and reports related to article expiration and content hygiene; proactively engage content owners to drive timely remediation.
- Review and remediate content issues impacting employee experience, including missing or incorrect topic tagging, incorrect template usage, governance or standards non‑compliance.
- Operationalize established content governance processes, coordinating across COE SMEs, country leads, and content writers to support global alignment while accommodating local needs.
- Support governance workflows by routing content for review and approval and tracking status to completion.
- Act as a primary operational contact for content writers, providing guidance on writing standards, publishing processes, and Service Now knowledge functionality.
- Support onboarding of new content writers, including access provisioning and orientation to content standards and expectations.
- Maintain internal documentation and reference materials used by content writers (guidelines, how to content, best practices).
- Manage operational updates to the MyHR homepage and topic pages, including content carousels, visuals, and messaging.
- Coordinate updates to ensure alignment with current HR programs, priorities, campaigns, and key employee moments.
- Serve as a User Acceptance Tester (UAT) for Service Now platform releases or enhancements.
- Validate that MyHR content, workflows, permissions, and user experience function as expected post deployment; document and report issues as needed.
- Track and report on content operations metrics such as content freshness, remediation progress, governance compliance, and operational readiness.
- Provide inputs to leadership or program stakeholders supporting ongoing MyHR portal health and improvement efforts.
- Experience with content operations, HR systems, or knowledge management.
- Familiarity with Service Now or similar platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience managing content workflows and governance.
- Ability to collaborate across global teams.
- Video editing and graphic design (photoshop) skills.
- Experience using tools like Everyone Social, Sprout Social for content distribution or other content management tools.
- Specific experience developing content for global and regional specific talent markets.
- Pay range for this position will be $39.99 to $44.99 per hour. Compensation will vary depending on location, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. This rate is subject to change.
