AMD is seeking a Vice President of Business Development to lead global strategy and execution across Neo Cloud partnerships and Data Center providers and within the Data Center GPU Business Unit. This executive will be responsible for enabling and scaling AMD’s engagement with next‑generation cloud providers and data center operators to support the rapidly growing demand for AI infrastructure.
This role is central to ensuring AMD has the capacity, ecosystem partnerships, and strategic positioning required to deploy AMD Instinct™ accelerators leader will define and drive AMD’s Neo Cloud strategy, build and manage relationships with global data center providers, and ensure a robust pipeline of infrastructure engagements to secure power, capacity, and deployment readiness for current and future AI workloads.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in data center infrastructure, hyperscale and emerging cloud ecosystems, and large‑scale capacity planning, along with strong commercial leadership and executive presence.
THE PERSONYou are a senior executive with deep expertise in data center infrastructure, cloud ecosystems, and large‑scale capacity planning. You understand how AI workloads are reshaping infrastructure requirements and have experience building partnerships that enable rapid, global deployment of compute platforms.
- Strong executive presence and ability to influence C-level stakeholders
- Deep understanding of data center power, capacity, and infrastructure constraints
- Experience negotiating complex, multi‑party infrastructure and platform agreements
- A strategic mindset paired with strong operational execution
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and build new ecosystems in fast‑moving markets
- Define and lead AMD’s global Neo Cloud strategy, enabling emerging and next‑generation cloud providers building AI‑first infrastructure.
- Drive adoption of AMD AI platforms across Neo Cloud environments, supporting both training and inference workloads.
- Identify and scale strategic Neo Cloud partners globally to expand AMD’s AI compute footprint.
- Establish and manage executive relationships with colocation providers, data center developers, and infrastructure operators.
- Develop strategic partnerships to enable large‑scale deployment of AMD DC GPU platforms.
- Align with partners on capacity planning, geographic expansion, and infrastructure readiness.
- Build and maintain a global pipeline of data center engagements to ensure sufficient power and capacity for AMD’s AI growth.
- Partner with data center providers to secure power allocation, site readiness, and long‑term infrastructure commitments.
- Anticipate future capacity needs and proactively position AMD to meet demand at scale.
- Lead complex negotiations involving infrastructure, capacity commitments and long‑term strategic agreements.
- Structure partnerships that align AMD, Neo Cloud providers and end customers across the AI value chain.
- Drive scalable business models that accelerate time‑to‑deployment and ecosystem growth.
