Oracle Cloud Developer - Shockwave

The Oracle Cloud Developer role is located in Santa Clara, California. The position is part of Technology Product & Platform Management – Infrastructure Engineering – Storage Systems.

The Oracle Cloud Developer is responsible for designing and developing technical solutions within Oracle Cloud. The developer will write SQL queries and create effective Oracle reports within the BI platform, and assist functional analysts with integrated solutions.

• Understand business requirements working with functional analysts to develop deliverables in Oracle Cloud.
• Develop dashboards and analytics tools within Oracle Cloud to support reporting needs.
• Collaborate with functional leads to understand objectives and propose optimal technical solutions.
• Work with various Oracle Cloud technologies – OIC, low‑code platforms like VBCS, and developer tools such as APEX.
• Implement and leverage latest AI technologies within Oracle to improve business efficiency.
• Document technical design specifications for each deliverable.
• Partner with third‑party vendor teams and Shockwave Technical architects in a collaborative workspace.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years’ experience in technical roles specific to Oracle applications.
• 6+ years’ experience with Oracle ERP (EBS/Cloud) in technical development.
• Strong experience with BI/OTBI report development.
• Experience with developer tools, low‑code platform, and Oracle Integration Platform (OIC).
• Experience integrating Oracle Cloud with peripheral systems via OIC.
• Proficiency in documenting business requirements and detailed technical flows.
• Experience implementing EDI integration with third‑party applications.
• Experience implementing REST/SOAP based API/Web Services integration.
• Strong foundation in security protocols, data security, encryption, etc.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to multi‑task and prioritize.
• Continuous improvement mindset with analytical and problem‑solving skills.

The anticipated base pay range is $86,000 to $138,600 annually.

Eligible for an annual performance bonus; bonus awarded at the company’s discretion.
