Research, design and implement state-of-the-art machine learning models that can be incorporated into our stack to perform scene understanding, trajectory prediction, and high-level decision making

Responsibilities

• Assist with model fine tuning tasks needed for on-road deployment.
• Conduct model training experiments with different masking strategies to get valid planning trajectories for active-merge scenarios.
• Review latest literature in motion forecasting and suggest adoptions to Plus data-driven planning framework.

Required Skills

• Pursuing MS or PhD in CS, EE, mathematics, statistics or related field.
• Deep understanding of machine learning principles and methodologies.
• Experience with implementing deep learning models in at least one deep learning framework (PyTorch, Tensorflow, Jax).

Preferred Skills

• Past experience in deep learning projects related to autonomous systems (e.g. object detection, semantic segmentation, agent prediction, decision making).
• Publication record in relevant venues (CVPR, ICLR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, AAAI, SIGGRAPH).

Salary Range

• $19 - $65 an hour

Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay determined based on the position and your location, year in school, degree, and experience.
