Oracle Specialist/ Consultant
Position Overview
The Oracle Cloud Developer will design and develop technical solutions within the Oracle Cloud suite of technology products, writing SQL queries and developing Oracle BI reports, and working with functional analysts to deliver integrated solutions.
Essential Job Functions- Understand business requirements with functional analysts to develop Oracle Cloud deliverables.
- Develop dashboards and analytics tools within Oracle Cloud to support reporting needs.
- Collaborate with functional leads to define objectives and propose optimal technical solutions.
- Work on Oracle Cloud technologies: OIC, low‑code platforms like VBCS, and developer tools such as APEX.
- Implement AI technologies in Oracle to improve business efficiency.
- Document technical design specifications for each deliverable.
- Partner with third‑party vendor teams and Shockwave technical architects in a collaborative workspace.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
- 8+ years of experience in a technical role focused on Oracle applications.
- 6+ years of experience in Oracle ERP (EBS/Cloud) technical development.
- Strong experience with BI/OTBI report development.
- Experience with developer tools, low‑code platform, and Oracle Integration Platform (OIC).
- Experience integrating Oracle Cloud applications with peripheral systems via OIC.
- Well‑experienced in documentation and translating business requirements to technical details.
- Experience implementing EDI, REST/SOAP APIs, and Web Service integrations.
- Strong foundation in security protocols, data security, encryption, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail oriented with multi‑tasking and prioritization skills.
- Continuous improvement mindset with analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Base pay range: $86,000 – $138,600 annually. Eligible for an annual performance bonus per company plan. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, accident insurance, group legal insurance, 401(k) plan, and holidays. Time‑off benefits: up to 120 hours of vacation, 40 hours of sick time (56 hours for Washington State residents), up to 13 days of holidays (including floating), and up to 40 hours of work, personal and family time.
