Infrastructure Technology Solutions Manager (ITSM)

Working with the clients at the City of Santa Clara, California, business application services, technology planning & implementation and technology operations groups, this position is responsible for managing all people, processes and tools to deliver infrastructure technologies planning, design and implementation services. This includes developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key technology areas, including network infrastructure, server infrastructure, data communications, and telecommunications systems.

Position Requirements:

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge and
  
  Experience:
  
  7 to 12 years of planning, design and implementation experience in a technology environment which includes Microsoft technologies, Cisco networks, VOIP, security solutions, similar technology architectures, and datacenter and enterprise systems management.
• Skills and Abilities:
  
  Exceptional analytical, conceptual, quantitative analysis and problem-solving abilities. Ability to exercise independent judgment and act on it. Strong customer service orientation. Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Exceptional communication skills with ability to communicate vision, strategy, and key. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
