Job Description
Service Now is a fast‑growing enterprise software company focused on AI‑driven IT solutions. The VP of Solutions and Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) is part of the management team for the largest business unit and works with cross‑functional teams to drive strategic customer engagements and adoption.
The role will serve as a leader for a team of experts in IT Service Management, IT Operations, Data Foundations, and AI, and reports to the SVP and GM for Service Operations.
The ideal candidate blends practitioner and builder experience delivering high‑impact solutions in real customer environments and scaling them through reference architectures and in‑product adoption.

- Collaborate with product teams across technology domains to launch new solutions and features.
- Partner with Go‑To‑Market teams to drive business impact through strategic customer engagements and adoption motions.
- 15+ years delivering transformative IT products and solutions in large‑scale, high‑growth environments.
- Deep domain experience in IT Service Management, Operations Management and Data Foundations, including CMDB.
- Proven experience in AI‑driven solution transformations.
- Extensive experience building reference architectures to accelerate and scale customer outcomes.
- Experience working closely with product in product‑feedback loops to design in‑product nuances that accelerate customer adoption.
- Practitioner‑Product mindset with deep intimacy navigating complex customer environments and building products.
- Customer‑facing experience with impact at scale; executive‑level customer relationship building is essential.
- High tolerance of ambiguity, operating in gray zones without absolutes.
- Extensive experience leading and extending highly experienced product managers, creating a collaborative, fulfilling, high‑velocity environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage technology leadership, CTOs, and Enterprise Architects.
Compensation ranges between $291,500 and $495,600 in base salary, plus equity, variable, and incentive components, as well as comprehensive benefits such as health plans, 401(k) with match, ESPP, flexible time and family leave programs.
