Job Description
Johnson & Johnson is hiring a Dev Ops Engineer for the Engineering Productivity Team. The role focuses on improving engineering efficiency by supporting build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and core software development lifecycle components.
Key Responsibilities- Support the software development lifecycle through CI/CD pipeline development
- Advance and improve build and general support infrastructure
- Develop provisioning and deployment strategies
- Support AWS cloud infrastructure
- Work with engineering teams to support their business requirements
- Support monitoring, observability, and alerting solutions across CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and software delivery systems
- Build and support engineering metrics pipelines, dashboards, and data reporting workflows to improve visibility into system health and developer productivity
- Evaluate and enable AI‑based tools, LLM‑driven workflows, and automation opportunities within software development and Dev Ops environments
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of experience in Dev Ops or related field
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline support and development using Jenkins and/or Git Lab
- Experience with cloud and containerization technologies such as AWS and Docker
- Experience with Python and Bash
- Experience with code repository management, code merge, and code quality checks
- Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Cloud Watch, or similar tools
- Experience building or supporting engineering metrics pipelines, dashboards, and data reporting workflows
- Familiarity with AI tools, LLM-based workflows, and automation use cases in software development or Dev Ops environments
- Experience with QNX, Yocto, and Linux
- Experience working in medical devices
- Experience with CMake
- Experience with Kubernetes and Terraform
- Experience with Artifactory and Sonar Qube
- Experience supporting AI or ML workloads, data pipelines, or related infrastructure
- This role may require up to 10% travel.
The base pay range for this position is $ – $.

- Sick time: 40 hours per calendar year (48 hours in Colorado, 56 hours in Washington)
