Technical Project Manager

Responsibilities

Vividian Soft Inc. is looking for a leader to manage Information Technology teams and provide optimal service to internal and external customers, ensuring minimal interruptions by reviewing needs and technical requirements. The role involves endorsing IT strategies, policies, and procedures, evaluating outcomes, identifying problems, assessing trends, and anticipating requirements. The successful candidate will stay abreast of the latest technology trends in Cloud Computing, Mobile Development, Software Architecture & Development, Agile Development, Application Support, and Data Integration with Traditional & Big Data technologies.

Responsibilities include monitoring project progress, preparing detailed scheduled reports on milestones and deliverables, coordinating with recruitment teams to secure suitable hires, and providing everyday coordination with specialized technical teams. The role also involves reviewing project plans for technical modifications, communicating proactively with all stakeholders, encouraging problem-solving, creating solutions, and implementing efficiency improvements. Additional duties include reviewing design documents and code standards, contributing to industry technological research, and supporting professional development through workshops and client planning meetings.

Perform analysis, design and implementation using Agile methodology for iterative development applications. Participate in Scrum, retrospective and release planning meetings. Apply current technologies such as hardware, software and packaged applications to support the delivery of technical solutions. Write, analyze, review and rewrite programs. Use workflow charts and diagrams and knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter and symbolic logic to consult with and assist computer operators or system analysts.

Assist in completing unit testing by preparing test data, running tests and evaluating results. Implement new and enhance existing computer applications and programs. Assist in modifying company products and/or customer/internal systems to meet client and/or end‑user needs. Use various language concepts like collections and multithreading for complex data computations and analysis using languages like Java/C. HTML, JavaScript, CSS, develop unit testing and system testing using test‑driven development models of JUnit/testing.

Develop, implement and maintain application software to establish standards and specifications. Maintain knowledge of changing trends in technology and programming languages, utilize database technologies and SQL queries. Design and implement continuous integration, continuous delivery and continuous deployment pipelines using Jenkins. Automate processes and problem resolutions to enhance productivity of existing computer systems. Perform bug fixes of various modules and applications raised by the testing team.

Provide extensive pre‑delivery support using bug fixing and code reviews. Travel/relocate to various unanticipated locations to interact with clients and train users for short and long‑term assignments.

Build and release production support and events at App Continuous Deployment of various application and services deployed to the production environment using Ansible. Utilize technical skills such as Ansible, Splunk, GIT, Shell and Python for automation, deployment and monitoring of various services. Perform OEL patching, kernel and DB upgrades, performance monitoring and tuning of various UNIX and Linux hosts (CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat Linux).

Manage automation/configuration management using Chef, Ansible or an equivalent. Design, implement fully supported automated CI/CD processes. Develop and implement software release management strategies for various applications. Review, repair and modify software programs/code and unit test to ensure technical accuracy and reliability of programs. Create Ansible playbooks and roles for configuration management and binary sync process. Debug and perform production validation of logs and binaries.

Participate in structured and documented post‑change system testing and enhance tests as needed when functionality is added. Design technical architecture and develop cost‑effective solutions using various configuration management tools to make infrastructure compliant with the company’s cloud policies while ensuring high availability. Leverage cloud SDKs to interact with various AWS services from the application and set up automated monitoring for service outage.
