THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with deep expertise in SKU transformation, New Product Introduction (NPI), and Master Data Management (MDM). This role will be pivotal in ensuring Pure can rapidly adapt to new product launches while maintaining scalability, accuracy, and governance. The Solution Architect will design the end‑to‑end architecture that bridges product innovation with operational execution, with the Product Master as the foundation for SKU integrity and enabling fast, accurate product launches.

What

You’ll Do
  • Define the end‑to‑end architecture for SKU transformation, NPI enablement, and Product Master integration, ensuring seamless interoperability across ERP, CRM, billing, and PLM platforms.
  • Translate business and product launch requirements into scalable Product Master and MDM‑driven data models.
  • Design frameworks that support bundled offerings and rapid product introduction, while ensuring data consistency across all systems.
SKU Transformation, Governance & Product Master
  • Lead SKU rationalization, consolidation, and re‑structuring with the Product Master as the system of record, supporting both legacy simplification and future NPI readiness.
  • Establish governance processes for new SKU creation, approval, and lifecycle management through Product Master stewardship workflows.
  • Provide architectural oversight for SKU migration and onboarding, ensuring mastered data flows cleanly into ERP/CRM.
  • Use Product Master validation rules to mitigate risks such as duplicates, incomplete attributes, and inconsistent hierarchies.
New Product Introduction (NPI) Support
  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Operations to design repeatable, Product Master‑enabled SKU onboarding processes into ERP/CRM.
  • Act as the architectural bridge between NPI teams and operational systems, ensuring product data flows seamlessly from PLM → Product Master → ERP/CRM.
  • Build frameworks in the Product Master to track NPI readiness milestones and versioning, ensuring integrity at launch.
What You Bring Required
  • 5+ years in Solution Architecture, with a focus on SKU transformations and MDM/Product Master.
  • Proven expertise in SKU restructuring, lifecycle management, and NPI enablement.
  • Hands‑on experience with NPI processes and ensuring new product readiness across enterprise systems.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP/CRM integration with the Product Master as the system of record.
  • Experience implementing MDM solutions, including configuring data validation, enrichment, and stewardship workflows, implementing data integration patterns between MDM and ERP/CRM/billing platforms, defining governance, security, and versioning within MDM platforms.
  • Track record of leading end‑to‑end SKU, Product Master, and NPI enablement programs.
Preferred
  • Experience in industries with rapid NPI cycles (SaaS, high‑tech, or manufacturing).
  • Hands‑on experience with MDM/Product Master platforms such as Informatica MDM, Reltio, SAP MDG, Oracle PDH, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with PLM and subscription/consumption business models.
  • Background in automation, APIs, and middleware for scalable solution integration.
  • We are primarily an in‑office environment and therefore you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.

The annual base salary range is: $205,000 - $308,000 USD
