- 8+ years of experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM), including Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM)
- Strong hands‑on experience with the Flexera One platform
- Proven experience working with Service Now ITAM, CMDB, or related asset management modules
- Solid understanding of enterprise data lakes, data pipelines, data governance, and data integration concepts
- Experience with data reconciliation, normalization, master data management, and asset data quality practices
- Hands‑on experience with Service Now HAM Pro and SAM Pro
- Experience working with cloud‑based analytics platforms such as Databricks or Azure Data Lake
- Deep knowledge of CMDB architecture and Configuration Management processes
- Familiarity with Informatica or other ETL/data integration solutions
- Active Flexera, IAITAM, Service Now, or ITIL certifications
We are seeking a seasoned Senior IT Asset Management (ITAM) & Data Platform Consultant for a high‑impact, onsite role based in Santa Clara, CA. This position provides critical functional and technical leadership across Flexera One, Service Now, and Databricks/Data Lake platforms to modernize and govern our enterprise asset management ecosystem. The ideal architect possesses a background spanning 12+ years of IT experience, combining deep HAM/SAM expertise with data platform architecture.
In this role, you will oversee complex cross‑platform implementations, drive seamless integrations, elevate overall data quality, and identify automation opportunities to deliver accurate, trusted, and consumable asset data across the organization.
- Act as the primary ITAM subject matter expert, providing structural oversight and strategic guidance for asset data management across Flexera One, Service Now, and Databricks/Data Lake platforms
- Define and implement robust data flows, governance standards, and integration patterns to guarantee accurate asset data synchronization and reconciliation across platforms
- Evaluate and continuously improve end‑to‑end asset lifecycle processes, covering procurement, deployment, discovery, inventory management, software optimization, refresh, and retirement
- Partner directly with Data Engineering teams to ensure data lake environments efficiently ingest and consume trusted asset and CMDB data, handling incremental changes with established monitoring controls
- Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Security, Infrastructure, and Enterprise Architecture teams to build executive dashboards and operational metrics related to asset health, compliance, and cost optimization
