Technical Architect – M365
Location:
Santa Clara, CA (Onsite) Duration:
Full time
Client is looking for Technical Architect – M365 for California location in the hot, growing market of Cloud and Data/AI related IT services leveraging Microsoft Azure. Must-haves:
- Overall 15+ years of experience with majority in mid-size IT services firms
- At least 10+ years of experience working in hybrid, onsite-offshore based delivery.
- Design, plan, estimate and architect M365 configurations, workloads, settings
- Analysis and recommendations for best practices
- Proven experience with M365 security and configuration.
- Manage and administer the Microsoft 365 (M365) environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, One Drive for Business, Teams, and other M365 applications.
- Manage and maintain M365 security policies and compliance requirements, governance, endpoint protection
- Authentication methods, identity providers like OKTA, Conditional Policies, Health and Monitoring
- Managing and configuring Intune Policies and device management best practices
- Experience in Power Shell Scripting, Active Directory (AD), Azure AD and identity management services among others, network infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to M365 services.
- Create and maintain documentation related to M365 services, policies, procedures, and system configurations.
- Keep up to date with new M365 features and capabilities and assess their potential impact on the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with customers to demonstrate how their cloud strategy aligns with Microsoft technology.
- Creating architectural designs based on customer requirements.
- Deliver product presentations and configured demonstrations to prove our ability to meet a prospect's cloud adoption needs.
- Act as the Technical Design Authority on projects alongside the Solution Architects.
- Provide governance to projects and mentor members of the team.
- Engage with customer stakeholders and ensure the recommended solutions are understood throughout the firm.
- Maintaining technical knowledge by working closely with Microsoft account teams.
